Digital Dividend: A televised debate A debate on the emerging agenda for WSIS was staged at ITU, Geneva on 30 September 2005. Live transmission of the debate through Eurovision's world feed will take place on 14 November 2005, 13:30 GMT. This debate was also broadcast on BBC World Television on 22 and 23 October 2005.
Internet Governance DVD The DVD is a self-learning multimedia package on Internet Governance. Inside, there is a 70-minute film, an Internet governance course and Internet governance resources including APDIP's Primer on Internet Governance and other outputs from the Open Regional Dialogue on Internet Governance. A Primer on Internet Governance This primer, with a foreword by Vinton G. Cerf, offers an overview of Internet governance, discussing its history, the issues at stake and the various actors involved. It shows how governance decisions can have social and economic ramifications, and it suggests steps that can be taken to enhance developing country participation in Internet governance.
Workshop on Mapping Gender in the Information Society, Bangkok, Thailand, 31 October 2005 APDIP and the UNDP Asia-Pacific Gender Mainstreaming Programme hosted a one-day workshop titled “Mapping Gender in the Information Society: From Reality to Discourse”.
