UNDP-APDIP Held Government Interoperability Frameworks Workshop and Study Group Meeting
BEIJING, 20 April 2007 - United Nations Development Programme – Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (UNDP-APDIP), in partnership with IBM and Oracle held the Government Interoperability Frameworks (GIF) Workshop and Study Group Meeting at the Beijing International Hotel on 18-20 April 2007. The event was hosted by the Chinese Government’s State Council Informatization Office (SCITO).
Regional Workshop on Asia-Pacific E-Government Initiatives, Bangkok, Thailand, 24-25 April 2006
As part of the project entitled "Capacity Building of Asia Pacific e-Government Initiatives," APDIP, UNDP's Asia Regional Governance Programme and the United Nation Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) jointly organized a regional workshop in Bangkok, Thailand on 24-25 April 2006 to review and disuss 20 case studies from 12 different Asia-Pacific countries. This workshop was held back-to-back with egov Asia 2006, the Asian e-government conference, and at the same venue in Rama Gardens Hotel and Resort in Bangkok.
Television Productions on HIV/AIDS From 11 Countries Available Rights-Free
Completed productions of "Think Positive: The Asian Face of HIV/AIDS" are available for exchange between the participating broadcasters as well as being made available rights-free to all Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) members and other broadcasters.

New 2005/2006 Edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific Launched
The new and updated edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific contains authoritative reports on how 29 economies/countries are using ICT in business, government and civil society written by senior authors who live and work in the region. Included are three subregional chapters on the Pacific Island States, ASEAN and APEC.
Second Annual Asia-Pacific Public Services Summit, Beijing, China, 8-10 June 2005
China's State Council Informatization Office (SCITO), APDIP, Cisco Systems and UNDP China organized the second annual Asia-Pacific Public Services Summit in Beijing, China from 8 to 10 June 2005. This year's Summit focused on the theme of "Cross-Agency Collaboration" in e-Government, and explored issues ranging from governance to standards to adoption. Views from China, and across the region were represented.

The RHDR explores linkages between ICT and the human development objectives of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
Digital Review of Asia Pacific 2003/2004
This bi-annual review provides facts, figures, data and analysis of the state-of-the-art of ICT and Internet diffusion, adoption and application in 25 Asia-Pacific countries. It serves as a one-stop reference source on the state-of-practice and future trends in ICTs for development and ICTs for industry for policy- and decision-makers, technology practitioners and experts, researchers, and educators in the region.
e-Awareness Seminar Series for Asian Parliamentarians (e-ASSAP)
The project seeks to raise awareness of Members of Parliament who are responsible for making decisions on the allocation of resources, and endorsing ICT for Development initiatives.
ICT for Agriculture and Rural Development in China
Grant awarded in September 2002 to China Agriculture University to assist farmers in their marketing activities using ICTs.
iTerm, China
Grant awarded in October 2003 to Sun Wah Hi Tech (Nanjing) System Software Limited and other organizations to develop an internationalized virtual terminal emulator.
