4th National Information Technology Conference, Colombo, Sri Lanka, 15-16 August 2005: Dr. Gihan Dias, Member of APDIP's Advisory Panel on Internet Governance presents a paper entitled, "Voices from Asia-Pacific: Internet Governance Priorities and Recommendations at the National IT Conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 15 to 16 August 2005.

New 2005/2006 Edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific Launched: The new and updated edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific contains authoritative reports on how 29 economies/countries are using ICT in business, government and civil society written by senior authors who live and work in the region. Included are three subregional chapters on the Pacific Island States, ASEAN and APEC.

Piloting Mobile ICT Access Models, Sri Lanka: Grant awarded in March 2005 to Kothmale Community Radio Station Radio Listeners Group to to explore new models of access to a range of locally relevant content.

South Asia Public Sector ICT Summit, Hyderabad, 24 - 25 January 2005: This Summit provides a platform and opportunity for policy-makers to discuss and share their knowledge and experience in the various e-Government initiatives in their respective countries.

Community Mesh Network for Mahavilachchiya, Sri Lanka: Grant awarded in November 2004 to Information and Communication Technology Agency, Sri Lanka to develop a low-cost wireless broadband architecture for providing high-speed Internet access services in Mahavilachchiya.

Digital Review of Asia Pacific 2003/2004: This bi-annual review provides facts, figures, data and analysis of the state-of-the-art of ICT and Internet diffusion, adoption and application in 25 Asia-Pacific countries.
