APDIP Shares Knowledge and Lessons Learned from 56 ICT for Development Projects in the Asia-Pacific Region
- The Pan-Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme for Asia-Pacific is directed at encouraging original and innovative information and communications technology solutions to development problems. This publication reviews and analyzes 56 projects from 14 different countries funded by the Programme between 2002-2005. Projects are focused on access to information and communication; capacity building and education; policy and social research; technical innovation; environment and agriculture; and health and medicine.

APDIP Donates 15 e-Primers to Wikibooks

Think Positive: The Asia Face of HIV/AIDS Available Online
- Think Positive: The Asia Face of HIV/AIDS is a compilation of productions by 11 national broadcasting companies across the Asia-Pacific region. The productions were officially launched at the Asian Television Forum in Singapore on 30 November 2005. These television productions are now available online.

Children of Tsunami: A Regional Communications Initiative
- Children of Tsunami is a regional communications initiative tracking how ordinary people rebuild lives and livelihoods after the Asian Tsunami Disaster. This is an initiative of TVE Asia Pacific and APDIP is a partner. The films can now be downloaded online.

Television Productions on HIV/AIDS From 11 Countries Available Rights-Free
- Completed productions of "Think Positive: The Asian Face of HIV/AIDS" are available for exchange between the participating broadcasters as well as being made available rights-free to all Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) members and other broadcasters.

Fijian Spell Checker for OpenOffice.org
- A USP-IOSN Microgrant awarded in September 2004 to Dr. William J. Blanke and Dr. Paul Geraghty to create a spell check dictionary for the Fijian language for use with the OpenOffice free/open source software suite of office programs.

"Asia-Pacific HIV/AIDS Reports" Production Planning and Training Workshop, Bangkok, Thailand, 8-10 August 2005
- Participating broadcasters from the Asia-Pacific region will be creating a series of “HIV/AIDS Reports” for television programming. This workshop provided an opportunity for broadcasters to come together to learn from previous HIV/AIDS-related productions and share ideas in preparation for the development of HIV/AIDS Reports in broadcasters' respective countries.

New 2005/2006 Edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific Launched
- The new and updated edition of the Digital Review of Asia Pacific contains authoritative reports on how 29 economies/countries are using ICT in business, government and civil society written by senior authors who live and work in the region. Included are three subregional chapters on the Pacific Island States, ASEAN and APEC.
