Free and Open Source Software Awareness Campaign, Lahore, Pakistan, 16-19 August 2005

The event took place at the Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) in Lahore, Pakistan and includes:

1. Four-day exhibition of over 100 stalls featuring educational, business, public sector and entertainment free software products.
2. Linux Desktop Training Sessions for over 3,000 participants throughout the 4 days event over a network of 750 latest computer hardware machines.
3. "TPFOSST 05" 1st National Conference on Trends and Practices of Free and Open Source Software Technologies, August 18, 2005.
4. National Free and Open Source Software Awards, August 18, 2005.
5. Distribution of informational material and 10,000 free CDs containing a collection of FOSS applications.
