Free and Open Source Software Awareness Campaign, Lahore, Pakistan, 16-19 August 2005
FOSSAC 2005 is a major 4-day event with exhibition, training, conference and award ceremony to promote awareness on free/open source software in Pakistan.

The event took place at the Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) in Lahore, Pakistan and includes:
- Four-day exhibition of over 100 stalls featuring educational, business, public sector and entertainment free software products.
- Linux Desktop Training Sessions for over 3,000 participants throughout the 4 days event over a network of 750 latest computer hardware machines.
- "TPFOSST 05" 1st National Conference on Trends and Practices of Free and Open Source Software Technologies, August 18, 2005.
- National Free and Open Source Software Awards, August 18, 2005.
- Distribution of informational material and 10,000 free CDs containing a collection of FOSS applications.
