Ms. Patricia currently formulates policies and strategies to promote international cooperation inline with national priorities. She also manages the Malaysian Technical Cooperation program which promotes technical cooperation with other developing countries and coordinate technical assistance and capital assistance programmes from bilateral and multilateral resources.

Prior to her present work position, Ms. Patricia was the Assistant Director in the EPU for Urban Development Planning, Multilateral Technical Assistance Management (UN Agencies) and Economic Planning for the Manufacturing Sector in Malaysia.

Ms. Patricia was the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow (Fullbright Exchange Program) in Development Planning Policy at the American University in Washington D.C. in 1992. She was also a Consultant to the World Bank in the Industry and Energy Division (East Asia) in 1992.

She also served as a Senior Program Coordinator of the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN). Prior to lecturing in Economic Analysis and Administration in INTAN, Ms. Patricia was the Assistant Director for the Ministry of Ministry of Trade and Industry (1981) and Assistant Director. Ministry of Transport (1976)

Ms. Patricia holds an M.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, Nashville and B.A. (Honours) from University Malaya.
