Dr. Raja Malek has almost 20 years experience of Information Technology in the Public Sector. Currently, he is the Depurty Director of INTAN and also the Head of INTAN Management Technology Center.
Apart from his present responsibilities, Dr. Raja Malik finds time to write numerous papers and articles including "Strategic Implementation of E-LEarning Initiatives" for Ministry of Public Service Administration South Africa (2001), Report on Evaluation of Employment Management Information Systems for Public Service Division of Maldives (2001).
As an active speakers in lecture and presentations, Dr. Raja Malik has presented papers to local, foreign, government and business clients on various topics such as Economics, Information Management, Knowledge Management, IT- and IT-related courses, Management and Management Science, E-Commerce and E-Business.
Dr. Raja Malik is also currently involved in many consultancy and advisory positions beginning from being a member of the team that initiated the Project Monitoring System for Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU) for the Prime Minister's Department (1978), consultant and think tank member for the Selangor State Government (1986), and Facilitator for IT Strategic Planning for Maldives Public Service (2001), to name just a few.
He currently serves as Deputy Chairman gor GITN User Society, the President of the Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC), and Councillor for the Management Science Operatoins Research Society Malaysia.
Dr. Raja Malik received his Ph.D. in Information Management and M.Sc. in Systems Analysist from the Aston University (UK). He was a B.Econ graduate from University Malaya.
