SECTION II – THE GOVERNMENT AND LOCAL INITIATIVES

“Section II – The Government and Local Initiatives” is designed to quickly assess the Government’s efforts in ICT for Development.  Here we are focussing on five main categories of interest – (1) “National Development Priorities”, (2) “e-Readiness Assessment”, (3) “Existing e-Policies, -Strategies, Acts, Decrees, etc”, (4) “Access”, and (5) significant programmes, projects, and initiatives on “Local Content Development and Knowledge Management”.
