APDIP and APC WNSP Release Publication on Gender and ICT
- This publication, with a foreword by Executive Director of UNIFEM, Noeleen Heyzer, looks at information and communications technology (ICT) for development through a gender lens and discusses ICT within a gender equality framework.

APDIP Releases New Publication on Gender in the Information Society
- This publication is a collection of 13 papers developed for a pre-World Summit on the Information Society seminar, produced in partnership with UNIFEM and IT for Change. It showcases perspectives that critique the engagement with new technologies in various development sectors such as the governance, media and work.

Workshop on Mapping Gender in the Information Society, Bangkok, Thailand, 31 October 2005
- APDIP and the UNDP Asia-Pacific Gender Mainstreaming Programme hosted a one-day workshop titled “Mapping Gender in the Information Society: From Reality to Discourse”. The event was held on 31 October 2005 at the Menam Riverside Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Gender Perspectives on the Information Society: South Asia Pre-WSIS Seminar, Bangalore, India, 18-19 April 2005
- APDIP and UNIFEM supported a two-day South Asian seminar entitled, "Gender Perspectives on the Information Society: South Asia Pre-WSIS Seminar 2005." The seminar was organised by IT for Change, in partnership with Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era and the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. The seminar papers are now available online.
