Abstract of Project
As internet technologies develops quickly in recent years in Zhejiang Provinces, few web sites can provide crop/vegetable management in detail and dynamic decision support for farmers considering their situation on soil, weather, labours and N inputs etc. This project tries to give the answers that aims to provide the dynamic and functional web based crop and vegetable system support for farmers and small cooperation agency to provide information and simulation service for their making decision on the agriculture production, which we called it a "E-crop management SimuSystem" or "E-farm" project. We will take the Fuyang, Anji county in Zhejiang Province of China as a prototype of county with ICT serving for agriculture and rural development. Thus, crop simulation model tools on web site by combining the N and Water modules, economic analysis and decision making tool to provide the optimization methods for crops and vegetable production will give the dynamic, functional and easy-going way for producers, This Web-based E-crop SimuSystem will increase the economic benefit and reduce the environment problem with N fertilizers. The main software tools in this program are the SQL ASP and simulation program which is developed by our research outputs. The expected results will be focus on the Web based simulator using modeling for crop and vegetable production and economic decision analysis.
