Reforming Internet Governance: Perspectives from the Working Group on Internet Governance

DiploFoundation's Internet Governance Portal
The Internet Governance Portal is an entry point to discussions about Internet Governance. The portal is organized according to Diplo’s IG methodology, which is based on five baskets: Infrastructure & Standardisation, Legal, Economic, Development, and Socio-cultural. Within each basket various IG issues are covered, such as copyright, DNS management, content policy, and e-commerce. Each IG issue is tackled by answering five fundamental questions – what, who, where, when, and how. The portal contains other resources dealing with theories, actors, and tools related to the Internet Governance process.

The final report of the Working Group on Internet Governance is now available online in all UN languages. The Report has now been fed into the WSIS process and comments can be sent to the WSIS Executive Secretariat.
Internet Governance Project
The Internet Governance Project (IGP) is an interdisciplinary consortium of academics with scholarly and practical expertise in international governance, Internet policy, and information and communication technology. The Project is conducting research on and publishing analysis of Internet governance. Some of the work is intended to contribute to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), and the United Nations Working Group on Internet Governance, as well as related debates at the international, regional and national levels.
Global Internet Policy Initiative
The Global Internet Policy Initiative supports adoption in developing countries of the legal and policy framework for an open and democratic Internet.
