Free/Open Source Software Asia-Pacific, Siem Reap, Cambodia, 1-4 September 2005
The Free and Open Source Software Asia-Pacific Consultation (FOSSAP II) will provide an effective policy level platform for the exchange of information and experiences in the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for development. There is a growing need for raising awareness on the benefits of FOSS, assistance with formulation of national policies, and case studies of FOSS implementation. The consultation will primarily target policy makers who can influence national ICT policies.
"Asia-Pacific HIV/AIDS Reports" Production Planning and Training Workshop, Bangkok, Thailand, 8-10 August 2005
Participating broadcasters from the Asia-Pacific region will be creating a series of “HIV/AIDS Reports” for television programming. This workshop provided an opportunity for broadcasters to come together to learn from previous HIV/AIDS-related productions and share ideas in preparation for the development of HIV/AIDS Reports in broadcasters' respective countries.

Included are three subregional chapters on the Pacific Island States, ASEAN and APEC.
