Training Curricula
The available streams of Seminars which could be tailored to suit the needs of the participants are as follows:
- Information Technology Policies and Infrastructure Development - Conceptualising and developing National IT policies and communications infrastructure
- Information Technology for Sustainable Human Development - Managing the transition into the information age to support development activities

IT Policies and Infrastructure Development
Legislation and policies on Internet and technology usage is a large concern, and many governments are now considering the formulation of more comprehensive regulatory frameworks addresses emerging policy issues. The Seminar is designed to assist countries in formulating comprehensive IT frameworks and enabling policies to harness the potential of IT and support national development in line with their social, economic and political objectives. This will provide a catalyst to achieve optimal national IT growth while maximising available resources and decreasing expenditures. (seminar information); (participation guidelines)
Target audience: Government officials charged with the duty of leading their country into the IT age.
IT for Sustainable Human Development
Implementation of Information Technologies in support of a wide range of development activities. The Seminar will offer insights on IT at three distinct levels: within the organisation (Intranet), within the country (CountryNet) and internationally (Internet). It will explore relevant issues and address concerns on the actual implementation of IT initiatives for Sustainable Human Development (SHD)

Target audience: Non-technical participants who have manifested a strong interest in learning how IT can be implemented in their countries and organisations. Ideally these individuals should currently be in a position to actively promote the development of organisational, national and international IT systems.
Webmaster Development
A web site development strategy is certainly required to minimise expenditures, time and effort in effectively utilising Internet technology to publish significant and useful content efficiently. The requirements and resources must be determined to select an Internet solution, which would best satisfy the organisation. The power to manage and deploy this information is vested in individuals known as the "webmasters", who have the technical skills, creative knowledge and responsible attitude for such a role. As it is vital for a webmaster to own a certain skill set for strategic site development, APDIP has created this specialised Workshop. (workshop information)
Target audience: Individuals currently performing the duties of webmaster in UNDP funded programmes or with government counterparts.
Internetworking Technology
Highly technical workshop on Networking, Internet Protocol (IP) routing, Top Level Domains (TLDs) and procedures for domain registration in collaboration with CISCO Systems. (workshop information)
Target audience: Highly technical person, especially engineers from Telecom and ISPs in our member countries.
