The Socio-Economic Development Information System committee of the Royal Kingdom of Nepal set up a national taskforce to specifically address Internet development in Nepal.

A delegation of eight key government officials charged with the task of developing IT Policies for their country attended the APDIP Seminar, which was put together in based on the topics requested by the participants. The delegates were accompanied by our APDIP UNDP Nepal focal point. Arrangements were also made for the delegates to attend the International Symposium on Electronic Government held in Kuala Lumpur. Several meetings were also scheduled for the delegates to meet with key persons from the Singapore government.
