E-Business for Rural Women Artisans and Entrepreneurs in Bhutan

Page Tools
An effective ICT system is vital for the development of the private sector, particularly in rural areas. With funds from Japan, UNDP is working with the Ministry of Trade and Industry to promote e-business in the handicrafts sector. Women entrepreneurs are being offered better access to information, training and markets to give them more opportunities to improve their incomes through the sale of handicrafts.
