With Japanese funding, UNDP has supported the Planning Department, Ministry of Finance, in the development of the Planning Information Network. This will enable district planners to share local data that is so crucial for national planning, and thereby will help the Royal Government address the challenges of monitoring poverty, and working towards the achievement of its other development targets.
