Progress

This process was initiated through a seminar entitled, “National Summit on ICT Policy and Strategy”. The Summit, organized and hosted by NiDA on 3 July 2003, marked the launch of the process for the formulation of the national ICT policy and strategy. The Summit was presided by the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Excellency Samech Hun Sen.

With support from an APDIP consultant, a background paper was prepared and a multi-stakeholder working group was created to draft the policy. The draft is ready and it is under review by the council of ministers.
