Digital Divide Data Cambodia
UNDP supported a local NGO, Digital Divide Data (DDD) Cambodia, to provide new work opportunities for the disadvantaged outside the capital of Phnom Penh. DDD provided outsourcing services in data entry and digitalization from a centre in Battambang which employs over 20 people, including the disabled and women with trafficking experience. The project serves as a model for how new employment and income generation opportunities may be generated from ICT.
