Strengthening Aid Coordination Management Capacities
The purpose of the Strengthening Aid Coordination and Management Capacities Project is to build the organizational and management/staff capabilities and functions of the Aid Coordination and Management Division (ACMD) of the Department for National Planning and Rural Development (DNPRD) so that the Government of Papua New Guinea has a working, transparent and effective aid coordination, management and delivery system. Such strengthening will help PNG attract foreign assistance, use foreign assistance it is already receiving including increasing absorption as well as effectiveness, and assist in addressing key development objectives.

Expected Outputs/Outcomes
Grant Management Database established using existing or new software/hardware.
ACMD management/staff trained so database functions.

Inter-office information network strengthened to increase communication flows with other DNPRD/government offices.
