Media Engagement in Governance: Right to Information
There had been various efforts on consolidating the gains of media engagement in governance. A validation of the media action blueprint (Plaridel Declaration) with stakeholders at the national and local levels using a human rights and gender framework was conducted.

Achievements
- A common framework within a human rights and gender context for media reform that strengthened press (at both local and national levels) as an independent, ethical and responsible institutioin and critical partner in governance and development
- Media Action-Oriented Blueprint (Plaridel Declaration)
- Strengthened media-community councils’ action boards with citizen feedback and press dialogue mechanism at the local levels
