The planned activities with respect to achieving the goal of gender mainstreaming are as follow:

Trainings as well as a gender sensitive management training programme will be developed along with user-friendly customized toolkits and guide books to enable the planning and development staff to conduct gender analysis, planning, monitoring and evaluation efficiently.

A gender-disaggregated database will be created in order to make gender disaggregated data accessible and available through efficient and reliable means of communication. This will be achieved through introduction of new and innovative ICT skills and competencies.

Identification and recruitment of an e-group moderator and the establishment of an on-line e-group. The purpose, process, objective, and utilization of the knowledge-based networking effort will require orientation of the concerned personnel and the development of websites dedicated to gender mainstreaming and related issues.

A draft framework will be developed for gender mainstreaming responsibility and accountability, based on which draft legislation can be prepared and shared. This work will involve multi-stakeholder consultations sensitization/orientation training.
