Diffusion of ICTs and Changes in Skills
The paper is organised as follows. First, it is shown how ICTs and skills are defined
for the purposes of this paper. Next, the data and methodology are introduced. Then,
the relation between ICTs and skill upgrading is examined. This is followed by the
investigation of the skill gap between expected skill change and realised skill change.
After that, the skill polarization is found from detailed examinations. Finally, the
paper discusses the findings and makes further suggestions.
